Shame all the glass is gone from the Merc, I could imagine that may seal its fate if rot hasn't.

I can't add pics cos i'm bloody useless with a PC.

Got a trouser tent till i noticed it was registered about 4 days after the £480 VED band cut off point.

Would make a nice winter engine rebuild project if you don't mind the VED, in running order worth about £5k always assuming the mileage and all is correct.

I'm IT illiterate and had to ask how to do this. The question and the very helpful answer are on page 1 of the pinned Help/Information/Posting thread.

A friend of mine has a 220 Seb coupe in Kenya waiting for a voltage regulator. It's been two years now and he still hasn't found one.

Could you not just install another alternator from scratch? Keeps it going.

An AVIA isn't something you see every day.  Skoda rear lights, and the cab is reminiscent of a Hanomag Henschel though it may actually be based more nearly on a Renault Goelette.

This is tempting.

35 years old so can be driven on a car licence.  It's all the way up in Ramrod country and it's got a 500 non turbo engine, so I'd be lucky to get home much before Easter, but it's still pretty cool.

That's definitely a Renault / Saviem cab.  SG2 rather than Goelette though.
