Unfortunately it states in the advert that neither the ladders or the oversized hardtop are included :(

should really be in the bargains thread but I have no idea what these things are worth

I take it the name of these is a joke as it looks like a snail? If so am am pleasantly surprised at someone at a manufacturer putting some effort into naming a car. Vauxhall spring to mind particularly in lazy names:

Movano - The word Move with 'ano' on the end so it sounds a bit exotic.

Frontera - You can work it out.

The afFRONT of knocking them up in the late nineties when they came from an ancient ERA?

Posted

From CAR:

What on earth are they thinking with that Adam name? I can’t Adam and Eve it!

Vauxhall has described it as individual, unique, original, universal, and many other adjectives besides.

Bollocks.

While I'm moaning, what is it with sellers not being able to fit a small-to-medium-sized car in a photograph?

The Alfa 33's rusty rear quarter pic was the best of the lot. Was he playing 'Touch the Truck' with it or what? FFS.

Something funny going on there - I thought those shitboxes were outlawed back in 2003?

Must be something to do with why it's registered as an ACPETITE?

They weren't banned as such; they were all owned by the DWP who, when they decided that adapted 'normal' cars were a better bet for disabled folks than a relic with handlebars, repossessed them. They were supposed to have all been scrapped but I guess the firm that had the disposal contract sold a few to shiters who came beating a path to their door...

Posted

If they're not registered as Invalid Carriages (and many aren't, they are just plain old trikes on the logbook) then they are safe, luckily

I do like this, no mention of mileage and it states "average" condition ...

I think its in fantastic condition for a 30yr old Renault.

I bet you weren't expecting this inside the car ...

That Royale is rather lovely, I had two saloons but I always fancied the coupe version too. Or a Monza. :D

I wonder why the seller doesn't have it on his main eBay account ( http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/bigben_little ... ksid=p3686 ] where he has some right old chod up for grabs.

'one of a kind. In conclusion then a very rare trailer'

What! That is seriously the WORST ‘half-car’ trailer I have ever seen, and I have seen a lot. Why cut halfway through the front doors! HIDEOUS.

And the door he has cut through seems to have a better paint match to the door on his actual car.

I am quite tempted to get one of these 'car trailers' and to weld it on the back of a Cinquecento so that it looks like a whole car. I swear they must have been about to draw the back just as the pubs were ahout to open.

'Ere Mario!, T' Orse and Groom is about to open an' they are doin' a special on Tim Taylors like'.

'Alright Luigi, I am just finishing off t'Fiat car. Fuggit, who needs boot space, where's your straight edge?'

I can never understand why these things are so under-valued. A Crappi with the same engine can fetch £5k all day long if it's in decent nick, but these usually struggle to do half that. :?

I've always loved the look of those Scimitars but isn't the technology a little, er, medieval? What are they like to drive?

Heavy but with plenty of grunt. Good fun with keen handling, but let down by iffy electrics and a cheap, plasticky feel. Definitely great value though, as you can say much the same about a TR7 V8 and people will pay £5k all day for one of those.

Awww naw that Scimeter is just up the road form me!. Good job i am skint! Perhaps that is not a bad thing really or i may end uo with more shite than i know what to do with!

Hey, check out the pictures of the Rover trailer, is that half an Espace up the driveway in the background?

Hey, what a coincidence, I've just catered up a fucking big pavement pizza looking at that heap of shit.

Trunnions

Fibreglass

Wonky electrics

Geography teachers

Princess Anne

Foot wells

Only really available in shit colours

Not as quick or as good handling as a Capri, and doesn't look as good.

I'd suggest this was pretty MEGA but my dad had one (same colour too) and it was, to put not too fine a point on it, absolutely knob explodingly awful.

12 months MOT, 5 months tax, sounds like a lot of recent work one as well ... £800

Oh and pop-up head lights are for WIINNERS

20v CQ, apart from the lazy/crap photography and 218, 000 miles on the clock it doesn't seem too bad.

Ok, stuck TRE, pain in the arse maybe, but cheap to fix, exhaust blow, should be cheap fix, occasional smoke on startup - could be cheap fix, or maybe not, but don't they all do that? my brothers 20v always smoked a bit on startup.

Anyway, no tax, 6 months MOT £375 seems quite reasonable.

Ref Scimitars......the SE6 was a tad more civilised,[less cramped] but IMHO [which is worth sod all] fitted with an inferior engine.

Did these come with the digidash? I know some Tipo's did, but the sedici? I see this one has the boring normal dash :(
