Holy crap that's depressing. I just looked up what this Sheeran thing is about. An appalling 'cover' of All along the Watchtower. What a PRICK! In a desperate bid to distance myself from such musical carnage, I'd like to state that in the 5 seconds of video viewing that I could handle, it was clear that Sheeran is driving a post-facelift Bluebird. Pre-facelift ones are still excellent. Much better in fact.

For £650 that's a bargain if it's not rusted to buggery. You'll always find an engine for one of those, I believe the 5.6 V8 can be made to fit..... :twisted:

I may be able to supply the engine, with the rest of the car thrown in for free!

As I've said before, I quite like it, as cover versions go.

Sheeran doesn't make a habit of doing covers, and as 'popular' 'artists' go, he has way more songwriting and performing talent than most.

Saw the Marina estate at Blackford last year. It's not awful, and on the upside seems pretty solid, from what I saw of it.

 

Personally, I wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole (or even a six foot Pole called Marius), and I'm not even slightly tempted by this...

get a new set of stripes - and do a new green tiger - you could do an Essex Maine Coon (Lion) instead this time, with beige stripes.

 

Looks a tidy un. Why not asked Adrian (themildbunch) or Docchevron on the BX forum to have a look at it.

 

You've a penchant for saving the unsavable - which can be good - in the case of the Mk1, but a Mk2 estate is still common-ish. I think you're finding that green blooded cars are addictive, so buy this one, dismantle the GT (green tiger) and roll in a multi coloured white and silver (and green striped) patchwork.

 

stupidly, you'd get a hundred quid back on the alloys of this one too. Short tax but long MoT. Alternatively, roll in it and keep the GT and do it up at your leisure.

Yeah, not keen on those particular wheels but that does look smart.

Correct me if I'm wrong but estates never came with the series 1 grille?

The wheels suck great big exploding monkey knackers, but Marinas in general are the coolest of the cool.
