T5 Volvo not fast enough for you, why not have a T6 then?

Every time I mention buying one of these a mate of mine goes on about them lunching the gearboxes. The engine is apparently already de-tuned to stop them eating gearboxes, but apparently not quite enough.... I still want one though, I really did enjoy my old S80 dizzler.

^^ Mate had a T6 - drove it like a saint. It still lunched its gearbox at 45,000 miles.

T5 Volvo not fast enough for you, why not have a T6 then?

I had a 20v 2.4 a few years ago and it was great. Brother in law's got a 53 plate T6 XC90 that's done 140,000 with no gearbox lunchage. Although we borrowed it for holiday once and it'd have been cheaper to go in a Bentley Turbo R, 17 mpg average over 2,000 miles and that was trying really hard to save money.

Handicapped by a blindfold and people throwing 20p balsa wood aeroplanes from Woolworths in 1973, he stumbled through his own farts and even got caught in a bear trap, yet still went on to win at 250/1. Non-runners were Yam650 and Admiring-glances-my-arse.
