How do you know he's not British anyhow?

The fact that Alex Salmond thinks that that would be a better system adds another degree of laughability to the "yes" campaign

He replied 'a little too old but thanks'

Worth a punt. Ta for asking.

Well I just phoned the seller of that green Volvo.  He wants £1000 for it, so my bid was some way short!  He's not in any hurry to sell.  I wished him luck.  I've got a bid in on a Saab finishing this afternoon too, and there are other candidates over the next day or two.  Something will turn up.

I think a bag would have been too salty for me too.  If it was a proper early 144 then fair enough, but a late big-bumpered model with a Badermatic is rather less desirable (imho at least).

That looks great man!!!! That W124 is an early one too, don;t think I've ever seen a C-reg before

Posted

C reg is very early for a 124, yes, it should be possible to find a 123 on a C as they were the last.  Noticed that Belmont but thought it was a bit Barried for me...

In one of those 'no real reason' moments I'd love to roll round in one of these.

26 years to realise he didn't want to slam it?

GR19 for accidentally putting in backwards, driving like a bastard all day, then manually filling out the back with a pen.

Got that? Good. Now either bid, or fuck off'

^^^That velour-lined Dieselmatic Laurel is "most desirable". Straight six with "proper" mechanical injection, I expect the gearbox is a proper old-school all hydraulic job too, frameless door windows and a real boot to boot.

What is not to like?

Just needs a row of little Buddha figures on springs across the dash and a tiny helicopter hovering over the AC vents......

All you need is some floor mounted hidden cams, a few bottles of Lambrini and a flashing light and you could do hen party runs to Blackpool. It's a win-win situation as you can just up the charge when you get there and then get paid in kind by a bevy of buzz bushed Biggar busted Banff beauties.

Patina.

Preheat a baking tray in the oven to put the pie on and you’ll get a nice crisp base for this easy Volkswagen pie.

Equipment and preparation: You will need a 23cm/9in metal pie dish with sloping sides for the best results, once warmed it's easier to ply into floor repairs

Add various layers of rattle can, sprinkled lightly with an assortment of primer, and lightly sauté over a grate fired by big fuck off wads of cash.

Cover in a very large helping of understatement and serve to a gullible public.

Best served on a beach in Cornwall to people with stupid hats, annoying kids with stupid names and stupid coloured fucking glorified vans with gaudily covered striped beds made out of bastarding plywood.

There'd be less fucking work painting the Forth road bridge with a toothbrush using water colours
