Steering wheel has an H on it and the tax disc says 'Honda'. Couldn't even be arsed to mask off the mudflaps - perhaps they were rusty too.

It's handy how the seller's trained his pet elephant to spruce up the engine bay like that.

That's gone a long way since I owned it.

Did it sit up as well?

I just wonder if there is any significance to the pair of ladies sandals on the bonnet

Yes,

You take your shoes off when lying on the sun deck (the roof)...

It was probably cheaper to buy this that all the hassle of having a deck built in the garden ;)

I'm in the market for this sort of toy but while in budget at the mo it won't be soon unfortunately. $_57.JPG

Wow that's nice, though you'd have to lob him the £500 extra for those wheels, as anything else will look crap in comparison.

It did when you pulled the rise lever.

I think this is an Acty.  I can't be sure because the title is just a list of manufacturer names and no-where in the garbled description does it actually state what it is.  There are also no pictures of the front of it to lend a clue.

Nice, though.

I agree, I think it's an Acty.  Date of manufacture 1987; and if you look at the wraparound front indicators, they appear to be styled to fit the 1978-on large single headlamp rather than the earlier stacked twins.  I used to drive one of these (35 years ago, bloody hell!  I'm so old...) with the standard box body on the back, and it was a right hoot, although not very crash-resistant.

Soz, it was a hopeless 'joke' in reference to the reg number :(

I remember a CAR magazine review of the Daihatsu HiJet 6 seater MPV thing with the summary "the prospect of crashing when six-up does not bear thinking about".

With nothing on the back that Acty must be very bouncy. Struggling to think what you could use it for, the seller's camper van plan does not sound fun.
