I was jus thinking about how I need to get something large, modern-ish, economical and boring to tackle the all motorway commute to my new office and sort out some of my dead old cars before the summer disappears, which is why tomorrow I'm going to make some enquiries about that £500 GS Break. Or failing that the dead Marina koop.

just a foot note the legendary AC Cobra muscle car (still being reproduced in kit form)was constructed by Carol Shelby who at the time was one of America's top racing drivers and still a revered man in motor sport. Not to mention that John Waynes real name was Marion

I am a mature man driving this car right now this is just in case my earlier comment about the name made it seem like it was not suitable for men

As an investor* who has gone long on Dedra Turbos, that one is encouragingly expensive. Looks all wrong on those wheels, too, so I could buy the car, flog those off for cash, take the wheels off mine and have a tidy road legal one for a quarter of the price of resurrecting mine.

But it would be red, so I'm out. And the advert is annoyingly poor in its grammar and punctuation.

It floats on fluid (or failing that, tail lifts)

Here’s the deal

 You bid & buy

 You pay me the sale price

 I give you a signed & witnessed undertaking;

 When you show me evidence that the car is restored & roadworthy (and not scrapped) I will refund the sale price to you in full

So; free BMW !

Yeah, er........

You can just imgine him going over it with his fine tooth comb and refusing to give you the dollar back because you havent replaced the headlining material or something.

Don't forget, too - the Mega Bus is really expensive.
