Cheap BX Turbo Diesels are becoming very rare things. Get in quickly folks! £395 with T&T. Merseyside. Sounds well looked after, has a few dents but has a new alternator (hence price has gone up - was a mere £365.

Sorely tempted, but two BXs is probably enough. The wife seems to think so anyway...

EDIT - This is now on Ebay. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/261073149615

Fark, that BX is only about 15 miles away and a right bargain. Usual 'no dosh' arrangement means I won't be chasing it sadly. I wonder if any of the BXP gang know about it?

That kit shit/Sierra seller must be a right knob end. Who in their right mind would dump such a nice car to complete some half-arsed deathtrap???

Never thought I'd say it, but that's got to be worse than banger racing. It's even Y-reg for fuck's sake :x:x:x

I want to buy it and bin the soapbox racer.

Something to aspire to. 'If you get a double bogey eagle on the 14th and sparrow a tweetie pigeon on the apex of the 19th you can win the whole car'.

Anyhow, bollocks to golfers, have a proper Club instead.

I've been Kurusting in my car, it's not quite a jaguar

I bought it in a pub car park, from some bastard in the dark

It was made by a militant sort, in a factory: Ellesmere Port

'PLEASE NOTE THAT THE REGISTRATION PLATE IS NOT IN WITH THE AUCTION. Please now note. the no plate is in with the auction. Although no number plates come with the car.... you would have to get some new plates printed.'

I know the garage in Preston that has that "Gold dust" Carina, they also have or had until recently a tidy looking 1984 Camry for 1500 (started off at 2k) and a very distressed looking FX4 Taxi with 134k miles believed genuine apparently on the clock,

oh, and an Audi 80 Quattro that featured a few pages back for 395, cars are packed like sardines in an old mill, mostly filthy, flat tyres, leaking rads etc, one of those places everyone should visit imho.

Cheers for posting that XM Trigger. I'm supposed to be looking for something smaller and more economical than the Volvo, but I'd rather have an XM

Down Southgate? Arr.

There used to be some ace proper ace Arfur Daley type car dealers down there and Kent St. Now all gone.

Beautiful Beemer! I will be interested to see how much that goes for.

Arrghhh, that green Camry still annoys me. I wish I’d bought it when it was only a few miles from me, before it got transported up north and the price inflated thanks to a doubtless rather hasty bit of bodywork.

Gotta love the K-reg Camry estate from a page or two back. Best car in the world, ever.

Blimey!, I can't imagine many other Giulia's still moted and on the road in this condition, Spend £1500 on this and become a Autoshite hero!

This didn't hang about long, Sold yesterday and now being resold by a Alfa "specialist" for £2200.

Probably a total basket case given that it hasn't been on the road in three years. "Heated garage", "selling for a friend", "starts on the button" - all the clichés are there in the ad...

I can see the engine going into a 205 in the near future.

^^ That is spectacularly daft but still quite clever at the same time.

I emailed the Sierra owner...

Hi, It seems daft to break such a tidy Sierra or even offer it together with the kit car, Just wondering what your after for the Sierra alone please?, Kind regards Mike

which he's replied.

Please make me an offer, it ought to be restored really, think that's one of the reasons I've not cracked on with it.Am guessing it will go for over £2,500 for both, over 650 views in 12 hours and 35 watchers already. Don't think the kit is worth much really. On the sierra the electric windows, electric mirrors and central locking all work, as does the original radio although there is no aerial. Paint has come up nice with just a quick clean and it has both original bills of sale (hand written and typed) and a nice reg no.Had a few questions along the same lines, may relist on their own.
