Don't these XJ40's look class now. I love them. They are right out of the pub landlord/flabby-arsed builder zone nowadays I reckon.

 

 

There is something still not quite right about them in my eyes, especially with square headlamps. The preceding and later models are much nicer

That 400 has a Halfords sunroof to add to it's troubles but the inside is less vile than the 928's. 

 

I don't get    1) how you can hang onto something as good as that Ferrari for 30 years and do nothing to it / with it.

                    2) the whole leather thing, that 928 interior is just beyond awful!
