Shit'n'tits.  I'm off to mix myself a large whisky mac.

That's without the whiff of a doubt the bloody best idea you had all day.

they didn't cost that new, did they?

i'd forgotten just how good the mark 2 cav could look.

Bloke at work's 80 year old dad is giving up driving a C reg 2.0 CDi Hatch with low miles and I'm saying "I advise you to look closely before you accept any derisory offer I make"

So now New Tigras are falling into shite territory? I feel old.

A very sheltered life in the wrong country to be fair. I love weird little Japanese cars and I've never seen a Domino like that. Seen older ones though.

We used to have one like this,

Mira_L55V.jpg

Mechanically it was brilliant - 100000+ miles on what is effectively a bike engine ain't bad - but by the end you were welding patches to the neighbouring patches. It went really well, handled nicely and seemed to run on fresh air. They got a lot right with that car, all it needed was better rustproofing.

"This is probably the only right-hand drive car in the UK."  er, no - possibly the only RHD Pacer left though.

"The seats are leather and cloth. The design is American-Indian but I don't know which tribe."  FFS I'd have bought it if you could have told me which tribe.

<anoraxia> Rumour has it there's a hideous chain drive connecting the steering column on the right to the steering box on the left - I have never seen one so can't be sure </anoraxia>

Looks a bit like my (really quite fast you know) Allegro, which was I believe Tundra Green, same year too.

Everything is there but there is a fault with the horn.

So we fix the horn and IT WILL SAIL THROUGH AN MOT.

i like this very much indeed,

"but is driven from time to time, and turned over for at least an hour a week"

Eh? It takes an hour to start it?  Geoff Capes comes round and rolls it around a field for an hour?

WE ARE ONLY SELLING DUE TO BUYING A BIGGER CAR. AS OUR DAUGHTER HAS OUT GROWN THIS ONE.

430 seems to have more issues than earlier models, due to increased complexity and (I suspect) cost-cutting measures. Also, that seller seems to get some of the regulars on the Lexus forum quite agitated.

When did you last see an early, povo-spec one of these?

The engine is parped in this one but it still looks ace in a miserable sort of way. WOULD if I had more time on my hands

Some ULTRA-MINGE models had non-body coloured bumpers fitted.

Meanwhile have an MOT-less Volvo that's in an area so tough a Banksy wannabe has tagged the wall with a snake
