I'm on that Cav, hopefully going to see it tomorrow. I've wanted a pre-facelift CD for yonks, and it's not far away. Last MoTd in 2011 but so what, looks a corker!

Gr8* for this time of the year.

A Cabriolet 114' rarely seen now but a few years ago I enjoyed buying them for £400 Max on autotrader and then punting them out in classic car weekly for double that. All good cars and wish I had kept one but the roof is expensive to replace and all are now tatty. I like it in red as they always seem to be grey or silver, anyway they are fun to drive and have that modern minor convertible vibe.

The MOT Exempt status of recovery trucks is a minefield, it has less to do with the truck as to what use you put it to.

If you pick up a broken down or accident damaged ( disabled in VOSA speak) vehicle from the roadside and take it to a place for repair or disposal then you do not need an MOT if using a purpose built or adapted vehicle. Ie spec, Harvey frost or even a beaver tail CF.

But you cannot move anything else without MOT. So no vehicle transportation, delivering or collecting cars for service and most importantly no scrap collecting or banger racer transport.

Regardless of what you're using it for The Old Bill or VOSA can give it what's effectively a roadside MOT and prosecute you for any defects, a lot easier to get a ticket in my opinion.

Billy bargain.

Pogweasel pink Punto.

£60, no reserve, 40k on the clock, ad says no MOT, but VOSA says end of the month and not much on the last few. Done about 1k a year.

6 hours to go.

I would, but I hate puntos. BrotherJ had a Cat C fire damaged-repaired one that was like driving round in a biscuit tin full of lemon posset.

was just about to post that prestige - I like the "change of circumstances force sale" . I bet the medication has kicked in and he's sane again now.
