I was weighing that up before. I mustard mitt that doesn't look like the Ellesmere Port I know in the background photos.

Bet that flies, bet it don't stop though ;-) We had a TL with 155BHP and it was interesting*

I think the seller may have confused the Bedford 220 or 220 turbo numbers with HP - they were something like 65BHP and 75 BHP (iirc).

Turbo! Very tempting! Somehow this came over as brand new car (first model year as well) and only made it to 55k miles. Shame it needs welding.

I thought I had seen this before when I read the post by @richardmorris it seems that this is a stolen car.

Thanks, I’d missed it on Saturday! Not sure stolen, but certainly obtained in dubious circumstances as we can tell to date.

Currently lots cheaper and delightful in other ways.

There are no hills in Ellesmere Port, it looks more like North Wales, or Shropshire.

Very reluctant sale if I could find someone to fix it I would. Car started having problems June 2024, temp gauge started fluctuating but did not affect performance. Put into local garage and had temp sensor in cylinder changed, got worse water boiling so had heater control valve  replaced but still overheating. Advised me to take it to Ford for diagnostic test £157.00  to save guessing what was wrong. Ford said it may be water coolant pump so had that replaced and still no better. Then said it was thermostat so had that replaced still the same. Back to local garage and had the radiator replaced and still no luck. Back to Ford where I had cylinder head gasket and timing belt (£1400) and still temp gauge move, was in there for six months without getting in touch with me.

Local garage has told me engine not overheating (did test) and he thinks it could be electrical. It drives as should but have to have heater on and then the temp  gauge stays in the middle.Don't know what it would be like on a long journey or if it would damage engine.

MK5 FORD FIESTA ZETEC S 2000 63K Please read (VERY RELUCTANT SALE.)

That is cool, wonder how thick the metal work is on them, muscle cars were often built like tanks.

Apparently this version was only available for a year in one colour and had a 310hp engine.

But imagine owning a car called the Oldsmobile Cutlass? Even ringing round for an insurance quote would be an experience.

That is really cool. Shame it's in such bad shape now.

This could still be a bit of a bargain if the buyer can do the work themselves. Looks reasonably solid just a lot of surface rust as it had a chepo paintjob i'd say.

I know when i bought my old 2nd gen camaro out of a front garden it looked worse than this does 🤣
