Bloody hell!, This is stunning!, It's only covered 14000 miles from new and it has £1500 ono in the window!, Bargain i say!

This ended at £1811 in the end, more then he was asking for in the window which is unsurprising really, I'm more surprised is that it didn't make more!

Those 127 1300 GTs are cracking little cars. £385 is not a lot of cash though an unknown ignition problem could be a hole in the pocket scenario.

I'd imagine that a 'comedy' picture like the above and a picture of the interior of a different motor will really help this sell

Then again I did buy a car on eBay that used completely bogus "mint condition" pictures that sealed the deal for me...

Not be doing that again any time soon!

"this is old but still like new lol has no dents or scatches, the car is just the way it was in 1979,it has only had 1 owner from new has not been started for about 10 months but was running perfect. "

£600.

....it needs a new front bumper, so we've affixed a springer spaniel as a temporary measure

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THESE. In fact, fap fap fap fap...

Indeed :D

The more I look at the ad the more tempting it gets!

And it does "look" pretty straight.....

If that Venturi is the PRV V6 Turbo (as in r25 & GTA) then mechanical parts are only moderately difficult to find. God knows about any other parts for them.

Stolen from Pistonheads:

For the development of the preproduction car MVS talked to ex-racing drivers such as Mauro Bianchi and Jean-Pierre Beltoise. Their advice resulted in a new suspension lay-out with double wishbones at the front. Other weak points concerned the brakes and not unimportant, the crude Peugeot engine.

Along the way in developing a more up-market sports car, the unrefined Peugeot four cylinder was dropped in favour of the more refined 2.5 litre V6 from the Renault R25 Turbo. This V6 was itself the remainder of an obsolete V8 project that was killed off by the 1973 fuel crisis; hence its rather unusual - for a V6 that is - 90° layout.

While still developing 200 bhp at 5,750 rpm, maximum torque of 214 lb-ft was now available at only 2,500 rpm. The R25 gearbox was mounted at the very back of the engine, unlike the Alpine with which the MVS shared the engine.

erm, what? They all failed the MOT and were scrapped years ago. I think GTA's are more common nowadays.

V6 24v from some Pug's & Citroen XM's have been fitted to Renault GTAs in place of the PRV V6, as have 2.0 turbos from r21's ... so similar should be possible in the Venturi

That venturi is super ace. These are a £25k car in France easily. They must have made all of about 8 rhd ones as well. Awesome!

Yep. Rare as les dents d'un poulet. I'd expect it to fetch substantially more than £10k even in its current state.

oooh, the sterring wheel is on the left side :D

The last rhd Venturi I saw for sale I think went for £12k last summer and that was running with MOT .... This ones all ready been noticed over on RAOC (Renault Alpine club) so I wouldn't be surprised if it ends up being snaffled by one of the guys off there.
