'kin ada. I suppose that's a sensible thing to do when your SD1 has crumbled away to rust flakes.

SBC & LS are very popular swap into these in USA.

It’s an old excuse, granted, but if I didn’t already have enough shit to last another lifetime, I’d be all over that.

If it was an earlier 1.8 estate in similar unrusty condition I would really have trouble resisting it.

These are getting thin on the ground

I wish: there are hundreds of the wretched things around here, seemingly all jacked up, snorkelled, winched and running on coal.

Not sure who 'repaired' the doors, but there's a future career as a Wickes bathroom fitter for them.

The doors are Coachbuilt  (wood framed),

unlike a Wickes anything!

The repair in progress looks quite well done, perhaps there is a future career as a Coachbuilder for them. 😁

My search for a new vehicle begins, I'm having a break from wafty stuff and want one of these at the moment:

That is some HOT STUFF.  It's surprising how many of these silly cars come in dreary monochrome colours.  Some have red or orange interiors, but usually with some concerning stains on the seats.

Hope someone will get it sorted, if I hadn't just bought mine!
