Serious coin that though, and still reg'd as a 250.

I had a 400 Ian Dyson too (VAV 314S). Mine had 3 seperate "Allspeed" expansion chambers, which sounded great.

Not as great as the Piper 3 into 1 on my Suzuki GT550. That was probaly the best sounding two stroke I ever owned, but the Piper ruined not just performance, but also the mpg (often down to 18mpg).

A lad I knew back in the day had a Piper 3-1 on his GT550 (TMB 525R) and I still haven't heard a 2 stroke sound as good as that. As you say, strangled performance but what a sound track!

 

Ps: managed to achieve 16MPG on a standard GT380 once, that was a bit of a lesson!

Tatty K11 Micra with an expired MOT ending tomorrow. £180 starting bid with no takers so far.

There's a walk-around video showing it starting and running. I would guess the seller isn't particularly clued up when it comes to cars based on her commentary in the video.

Despite the car clearly starting and running in the video, the description reads "but I then moved to London so it sat in the driveway for too long, and now no longer starts".

Apparently, the "garage have had a look and think ECU is gone".

My guess would be it simply has a flat battery, not least because of how lazy it sounds when it turns over in the video. 

Worth a gamble?

Recent £2000 bill from chrevronics and it still leaks, heater fan doesn’t  and needs suspension work?
