I think it's mini based and thus an a-series with siamesed ports but I'm not an expert. Those MK2 Cav taillights look huge on it, and the dash looks Japanese but I really don't know.

I don't remember soft top ones, but there must have been some. Taillights look wrong as said.

Was sort of an improved version of a Mini Marcos,

That's an A series Long centre branch manifold. (LCB) 

4 CYLINDER 8 valve but 3 holes for exhaust and 2 holes for inlet. 

A bit shit but 1950s design.

Weird. Anyone else have an issue with Cavcraft's images being displayed stretched?

Everyone else's seem fine.

yeah image is fine on my monitor, but if I shrink the the window size horizontally, while all the other images just shrink proportionally, cavs image gets squashed LOL
