this must be the SOLE survivor from the olden days, a none "i" mark 2 Cav SR.

when an SR or SRi actually was something worth having.

god konws what the fuckin' reserve is in it.

Thoroughly deserves to make a good price that.

*Edit: my dad's SR (hatchback) only seems to have lasted until 1993.

Agree, it does look like an ‘investment grade’ car.

So why the hell hasn’t the seller bothered to MOT it?

Some people. I’d have a rant about idiots on eBay but Junkman does it much better.

Not sure if asking price is salty, or sensible, for this Silvia. It does look very nice, either way.

Pretty salty imo. Who's going to buy it? Not at all quick by modern standards and it predates the 1990s jap-turbo-nutter craze so they don't have any kind of following. I had one a few years ago. It was alright but generally felt quite crude - weird to think they were building this alongside the R32 Skyline GTR...

Yeah best keep on looking for that unwelded 35-yr old Mazda eh!

Does such a thing exist?

and i my yoof i remember hepling older friends chop several of these up so it was easier to weigh it in.

not that there was much to weigh in cos they were really, REALLY rotten.

and the best bits of the interiors where stripped out and got put into a mark 4 XR3i (along with them RS 7 spoke wheels)and a 1300l.

such actions today would end up with me on the wrong end of a fatwa from the OSF fan boi's.

ah happy days.....

Overpriced old toot. How much of that £10k is scene tax?

This was bid up to £920 (reserve not met), and I've just been 'offered' it for £1200. That's probably not unfair, but I shall no doubt politely decline.
