My mechanic is selling his if anyone has £35k spare- I should have bought it five years ago when he was asking £15,000! His wife refuses to go in it after the first time, when after a twenty year restoration she hurt her shoulder reaching for the seatbelt. His is a nice turquoise marine with black interior.

Fuck yeah! Where did the Ventos go? Ugly stepsister of an unloved child.

My parents had one (K131 DNV) after selling their '89 Jetta GL. It was black. Horrible car to drive in summer as the colour absorbed heat like it was going out of fashion. No air-con. Thin body panels, just as insubstantial as the contemporary Golf 3...which my sister had (K931 EWB, subsequently written off by a Polish van driver who took the entire nearside off). The Vento was eventually palmed off onto a student in Hatfield for £350.

There is a small hole in the drivers floor, a small hole in the boot floor, a small hole in the top of the tank, 3 small holes around the rear screen, rear panel has gone all the way round the edge, both wings just behind the front wheel arches

That Vento has a Golf front end on, deffo a bit of Pineapple going on there. That Caddy too, it looks like it has crashed in to a cheap car accessory shop window, and all the tat stuck to it

The Iveco UK fan club is chaired by Cavcraft himself, no doubt he'll be along shortly to gush at length about them.  I can only imagine how excited he'll be about one with 20 years of horse piss soaked into the floorboards.

I did see that blue BX and consider it, but I got disapproving looks for suggesting it and I've potentially found a perfect spares car for my Fiat duo, so....someone else on here better buy it.
