That is noice. Especially liking the steering wheel. Nothing worse than a light interior and dash with a black slab for a steering wheel.

Agreed, after living with the Rover 75 beige dash / beige wheel combo, I now hanker after changing the wheel on the 420 to match.  But would a 800 wheel fit the 400 column?

That Malaga Hearse Solarium Greenhouse Camper

Seat-malaga-_Funebre-255029262_3.jpg

..looks* an utter bargain and just a hour from Bilbao.  Ferry to UK is a couple of hundred, but I reckon my old man could cheapen that with his Brittany Ferries membership discount.  Must resist.  Or should that be debe resistir

Go on you know you want to. The ferry is cheap but it takes ages. I was going to use it but it was a few hundred miles from Barcelona and took 36 hours. Drive the bugger back it can't be any worse than mine was. pick up some bikes on the way home to help pay for the trip. I would of gone for one of these or one of the 505 hearses but I really wanted something older and tax exempt

I wonder if that E24 behind it is for sale?

Worth a call; he seems to be a trader, constantly advertises stuff on there

Just after having a closer look at it. Rear bumper gives it away as a Series 1, so most likely a 628 or 633. Also based on E12 floorpan, so there'll be loads of rot in it....

Weren't these lidless Corsas Aussie made Barinas?

Not Barinas, no.

European Opel/Vauxhall Corsa cabrios were converted by Kupfer in Holland, not by HSV.

Anyhow, no Holden Barina was Aussie-made.  All were built at the same Spanish plant as the Opels, then shipped over - quite likely the marketing glossed-over that bit.

I'd buy that just for the 'UMF'.
