I think that this may be the biggest pile of toss that I have ever seen, and that is saying quite a lot, give the contents of this thread.

Can you guess from this picture (the only one on the listing) what this chap is trying to flog?

Does anyone know when CMS's birthday is and how much money his missus wants to spend on his present?

I read it as 'BRIMS - Home of Chavvy Cars'.

Brims was Emperor of the Lower Creeks, the southern half of the Muscogee Indians. He built a successful trading power by playing the English, Spanish and French colonists off against each other and died in 1733, a few months before Oglethorpe arrived and called the place Georgia.

A famously wise and noble warrior-diplomat, he would not have appreciated being immortalised on a barried up Hyundai Coupe, especially not with an automatic gearbox.

No, but looking at the scenery I'm willing to have a stab at how long ago he started trying to flog it.

The joy of the Brummagem Brimsmobile it is that it takes a fundamentally shit car and dresses it up as another fundamentally shit car.

NB: Birmingham again.  They used to make ace cars there once.

This'd be great, I even reckon I could talk my lovely long suffering missus into us squeezing a holiday in the area, buying this and driving home

Nah, no recent pics because it'll be sitting on a tiny driveway covered in moss or in a storage yard of some horrid dreary old industrial estate right now. In which case, I don't blame them and would use exact that photo in a pinch.

Until the mong'ed MG ZR appeared you were right

I can't believe someone has actually bid 1200 pounds for this cretin of an automobile.

I wonder if I can get odds at Paddy Power on that sale not proceeding and it being relisted? Or on the bid being from an "acquaintance" of the seller :) or (in an odd coincidence multiplier), both.
