I think you might be right - I was looking at straight-8s only the other day.

Looks like this has sadly seen the end of its days

I remember it being a brilliant* idea to remove the heater - less weight, less prone to leaks, more power to the engine as the water pump doesn't have the drag of blah blah blah.

Unfortunately you can't drive very fast down a rally stage when you're continuously wiping the inside of the screen with your glove as the bastard has misted up again.

They were shit in 1995.

That was the first of the just about acceptable ones.

Absolute dog shit of the car world, the sooner there's none left, the better. Says the man who nearly bought one yesterday morning.

If there was ever a way to tempt me to bid it's by an opening photograph that looks like the Cavcraft garages with a dream scenario

And for once, that's a genuinely MOT exempt truck.

Didn't stop my parents having three of them!

I'm impressed. But not by the fact there's actually an Iveco more than 5 weeks old still standing...

..it's because of the way he seems to have got a toilet in right next to an LS Lowry painting of a shower room

Dad had one like that ages back. Same colour and everything - sold it about 5 years ago for £400 iirc. He was amazed he even got offered half of that, and his was a runner in much better shape than that turd

Didn't you have one of these, Glen? I'd effing love one, but this listing screams RUN AWAY really loudly

It's sort of so badly advertised that if it was a £350 banger you'd have second thoughts about bidding.

That could become a money pit very quickly, the roof mechanism is pretty complicated and parts ain't cheap - I had to have an aircon pipe replaced under warranty, and just the pipe without any labour was the thick end of £700.

It does look lovely in black though.

I had a CL500, which is similar to the SL but it doesn't have the floppy hard top it's just coupe.

It looks like it's had all the troublesome bits done to it, it could be a bargain if you're not bothered about the roof being stuck.
