This is the ultimate in hopeless Filby-era kitcar shite. I would LOVE IT!

****EDIT: just spotted this golden quote:

A worthwhile project even if you use it for sections of fibreglass for repairing your cat, when you consider 0.5m x0.5m sheets of 4mm fibreglass are £50 each

Hmm, my cat looks like she needs some fibreglass work done.

EDIT: Just after I posted that, she grumbled at me.

By neat coincidence I found something about this kit in a Filby magazine at the weekend, when I was having a bit of a sort-out in the shed. I can’t remember which one it was however. Working out what titles he published over the years could be a specialist subject on Mastermind…..

This Camry was tempting me. It was up at £500 with no bids. It finished at £500 with no bids. Logically, the seller has now listed it at £995 BIN. It's also written in Twattish.

Making a similar reappearance is that nice 2.2 estate: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/131932838013

Apparently relisted due to timewasters.

Nice ones of these have gone way out my price range, which is a bit depressing. I could probably scrape together enough for this one though.

What does £2,300+ (reserve not met) buy you these days? A shit, rusty old nail with some 1970's Wormwood Scrubs mattresses, an attempt at joinery so abysmal it'd make Frank Spencer cry and some dog pissed stain flooring that looks like it held the world tap dancing championship on it for 17 years in a row.

There's a helpful list of things that he had to replace, but he's 'never had any running problems'
