Today I got an MOT on metro number 4? The one I purchased to scrap but got a little carried away. As I never really needed it to begin with, I only wanted the 1.8vvc as a spare for the R25GTI I am looking to sell straight on, as this was more of a passion project and saving another car form scrap, I am looking to get out what I put in so if you are looking for an extremely solid, cheap to run Rover 100, head over to the for sale section...

Its certainly that, I had a lot of fun at Donnington making some very expensive cars very unhappy.

Would anyone happen to have a contact number for Santa? I asked for a new car and he took my one in one out policy as personal. This happened Boxing Day. We are both completely fine and it was the other drivers fault as he pulled onto a main road from a side street without looking.

We had a Primera just like that when I was a kid. Not sure if dad had it from new or from a year or two old but we had it for a few years, mum ran it instead of her Maestro when dad started getting cars from work, then we got rid of it when we started getting Motability cars and it was replaced with a Tacuma.

tell you a little secret, i owned both at the same time, both registered on the same day at the same dealers with identical spec. It came up on facebook about a year ago and i just parked it 'in case'. They were 7 numbers apart and were part of a batch all registered on the same day, I've send about 4 Ax with the same number sequence. I often wondered if someone purchased them all as company cars or something as they were all the same spec.

I’d love to think some company had a little fleet of AX’s - just pleasing

They are some sticky tyres. I'll have made part of the Primera.

I dunno why it put it upside down, was fine on my phone lol

Simon and I picked up the VDP 1300 a couple of weeks ago. He said he was passing by my house and I somehow roped myself into being in the VDP being towed down the country lanes and then the motorway.

It's a nice car but the ancient tyres didn't enjoy their towing experience!

It had a bump sometime in the 80s and pushed into a garage. It’s not as bad as it looks, it should go again with minimal effort if I do find a wing I’ll repair it
