Mark I got you those wing mirrors...and whilst I was there..i secured a shit load of 1950s 60s 70s rear tail lights off Vauxhalls ,Morris ,Galaxies ,Valiants..Aussie Fords and Holdens....havent picked them up yet but the ol Ebay is certainly gonna be quite lucrative..

Tom..there still quite a few Cordias around..they dont seem to have been hit by the scene tax here..tho the Turbos still can get good money..a scrappie down the road had a white minty GL for sale a while back $1000..which i thought was ok..

Thats why i live in the Nui..the scapegoat for all NZs problems..Auckland is an Ass..Wellington is unaffordable..Christchurch is to white n moody for my liking..and i much prefer to have a large Maori population..Whanganui having one of the highest..here everyone says hello and acknowledges each other..and we ve got the best n cheapest classic car scene in the whole country..

Any chance of investigating the window seals and seeing if they're any good? I don't think mine could be any more perished. If it's a VB, then wouldn't mind a couple more bits, like the nearside headlight and a few interior bits - it even looks like ablue interior too. Actually, there's loads of bits I'd like, come to think of it. I may have to make a trip down to visit....

In Gonville shopping centre yesterday..the dream mobile..ancient old boy in his 80s pulled up in the Holden ute..5l V8..he told me he d had it 30 years..he said he had it insured for $15k..which is what its worth..its very rare to see these in their original state..what was also quite funny was a bloke pulled up in a matt black Prelude with gaffa taped sealed sunroof..Like yer tattoo mate he said..i like yer car was my reply..Its a piece of shit he said..and I was like yeah..thats why i like it!
