I've owned one of these in the past and it was a great daily. Comfy, fairly reliable, easy to work on and it'll do more than 40mpg if you're sensible with it.

Yup - drove up to Berwick saturday morning to run some errands and see family, got 45mpg according to the computer (despite the intake, cam, exhaust, superchip...).

 

Filled up (because 114.9ppl not 123.9ppl like my local) and took the fun way home. 17mpg and never below 4,000rpm.

Just on my dinner now. Two things for absolute transparency. It's on (or should be by now) car and classic for £700. It's on eBay as an auction as of last night. I'd prefer it to go on here so as its not falling into the hands of a knob head but I can't put the other car on the road till it goes.

I don't want folk (ESP loserone who seems to be my curator (hugs and kisses)) to feel miffed or let down if the roffle collapses. Otherwise as you were lads...

I doubt it bud. Nice to think so but how the fuck do you put a value on stuff anymore. Was it Spartacus green golf that yes oui bought on here? Seemed fair value and I've tilted mine in the same direction. Just want to get a bit of money out of it to do the stuff I need to do and see it go to a good home
