There did seem to be some shells, or maybe more than just shells, just off the A140 heading south towards Colchester when I last went that way a few years ago to pick a car up for one of my sons. Obviously I didn't stop so might be wrong but by the sound of it it might be worthwhile to head there again sometime, it was a scrapyard on your left as you head south but can't remember what it was near apart from it was after the sign that spans the road.

its one of the reasons I dont really take part of the community threads anymore, because I know im just going to cop a load of crap for taking part if I do

for example there was a thread on here fairly recently about 3 spoke alloys, the different designs of them etc, and so of course I wanted to post about the invacar Mk10

and its custom 3 spoke Alloys cast by Invacar's own aluminium foundry, and I had wondered if they where maybe the oldest design of 3 spoke alloys out there? (dating to 1957)

but I bet If I did post I would of got a bunch of people complaining "oh he is spamming invacars again" or something to that effect

all this blue 3 wheel chat really does show how far we have progressed since the 70's, disability is no barrier. take lewis hamilton's wee brother nic, raced british touring cars for a few years in modified cars and wasnt the slowest, cars adapted with hand controls and servos for braking. also i mind a boy at knockhill in a evo with about 500 horses, the boy had no legs but car adapted using flappy paddle gearbox, and hand controls for throttle and brakes, the boy beat the able bodied lads in his class. money is the only barrier.

Cheers but getting ready to walk away,  I'm very grateful to Dez for his help, but some of these on here I have zero tolerance for.  Anything I say is slated, and I am called all the bastards under the sun for calling someone out and defending myself, or defending someone else.   Some on here were dragged up, not brought up, zero manners.  This reply will bring another barrage.  Not worth the chew.  Shame as there are genuine Invacar fans out there, not the the bullying agitators masking as advisors, knowing best.
