SpareSnare Posted July 4, 2018 Posted July 4, 2018 Did any one else spot the nice 205 in the Wiltshire poisoning BBC report.Granted probably not the main direction of these piece and I hope they recovery and all that, but it caught my eye. Thought it might've been T16, but prob just a modded Rallye? Sent from my HUAWEI VNS-L31 using Tapatalk mercrocker, GrumpiusMaximus, Christine and 4 others 7
Jimbob McGregor Posted July 4, 2018 Posted July 4, 2018 I spotted that too. F plate. Actually looked more like a proper (1.3 100hp LHD) Rallye but impossible to see if it has the correct squared-off arches.
M'coli Posted July 4, 2018 Posted July 4, 2018 Yup, i briefly spotted it in an aerial shot, knew it was a wee French hatchback but I thought it might have been a mk1 Clio - thanks for the correction!
adw1977 Posted July 4, 2018 Posted July 4, 2018 Let's hope it doesn't end up destroyed because of Novichock contamination!
neil1971 Posted July 5, 2018 Posted July 5, 2018 On a similar note, I spotted this Minivan in the coverage of an industrial unit fire on Canvey Island this week, hopefully it was further away from the fire than it looks mercrocker 1

BorniteIdentity Posted July 5, 2018 Posted July 5, 2018 Seen this Pug posted way, way, way too many times on Facebook and now here! Almost gone viral. It is a spectacularly lovely car tho. I've never fancied a 205 really. The GTi's don't arouse me either - but this one looks magic. I think it's quite safe tbh. Formal advice seems to be just wipe everything down, so I can't see it getting torched. Hope I'm right! Shonky 1

BorniteIdentity Posted July 6, 2018 Posted July 6, 2018 Looks to have gone now. Let's hope just for a little dust down and wipe over.
Shonky Posted July 6, 2018 Posted July 6, 2018 Pictures are slightly obscured on this thread - the plate is F718 JGT, in case anyone was wondering. Apparently has a "2,946cc" engine according to the DVLA. HillmanImp and ProgRocker 2
Bucketeer Posted July 6, 2018 Posted July 6, 2018 I think 2946cc is the PSA V6. It's no Cologne but it is sufficient I suppose.

Remspoor Posted July 6, 2018 Posted July 6, 2018 Last time this happened everyone was suited and booted. Now we are back to wooden top helmets again.Have they run out of NBC gear? NCB= Nuclear Biological Chemical
pshome Posted July 6, 2018 Posted July 6, 2018 Looks fake to me, here is a real one:https://www.motoringresearch.com/car-reviews-and-research/peugeot-205-rallye-retro-road-test/ BorniteIdentity and Faker 2
Stanky Posted July 6, 2018 Posted July 6, 2018 surely with a PSA V6 in the front the weight distribution is 99:1 Front to rear? I bet the steering is 'interesting' too! pshome 1

Lacquer Peel Posted July 8, 2018 Posted July 8, 2018 I don't think the V6 would be any heavier than an XUD.
