Anybody want this before its Egumtradered?

Since taking the pics I've replaced the front wings, they look smashing apart from the fact they're a slightly different shade of green... I found out after the fact that there are 2 shades of Oxford green and they overlapped on MY 1999! C'est la vie...Only really noticeable when the sun shines, onist guv.

So would make an ideal WBOD (If you're a fusspot)

I'll try and get some new pics up at the weekend shitters.

I bought this off Kinkersaab of this parish in January 2017...

At the time it had a short ticket and needed some work on the front suspension and a few other bits

It's just gone over 176k now and is MOT'd till Feb 2019 and sorned

It's got a fair old lick of speed, handles really well and will do 40 mpg ... What's not to like?

It did actually pass an MOT last May but the garage that did it after initially failing it ...having done the work they either didn't put it through their 'system' or the DVLA didn't log the MOT pass on their system... Anyhow,it's now got a long ticket!

In my ownership it's had various suspension parts both front and rear, including a pair of KYB front shocks... (Will round up the invoices) £700 ish of them!

It's also had both exhaust flexi's replaced.

And a new battery.

It's shod with Goodyear Eagles with plenty of tread on the front (one new) and Dunlop Sport Maxx on the rear, however the rears will need replacing soon.

Body wise it's not too bad but is a little crusty in places (see photos)...

Comes with a new set of front pads as the brake pad warning light is on.

The interior is nice and tidy... It's a very light greyish green leather.

There are a couple of things that don't work ... The Aircon and the rear parking sensors but everything else is operational.

The alloys would definitely benefit from a refurb.... The o/s front one isn't damaged structurally it's the silver finish/lacquer bubbling and lifting.

There's a few dents and scrapes and a bit of lacquer peel on the bootlid.

Some of you with good memories may remember it had an FTP not long after the MOT that never was ... The long and short of it was that it appears to have been that the battery didn't have enough juice in it because when I fitted a brand new battery it fired up and ran really well ...

The car is located in Henley in Arden.

You're not the first person to covet those mats...

I guess those mats aren't OEM BMW?

No, They're issued by the 'Irn Bru Car Club'

I read the description before I looked at the pictures. You've totally undersold it. I was expecting to see a totally rotten one, clapped out and rough as a badgers arse. It looks well smart. glws.

Are the seats a very pale green, or am I colour blind?

Yes they are ...

The last interior pic is a true representation of the colour (on my phone anyway)

Lovely sounding engine on this car.

Interior is a nice place to be

Drives really well. I had it up to around 15 mph and found no faults

Liked for the fact it's in H-I-A, which is where I got married just last year. Also for the excellent greenness, and those mats obviously.

I can't buy it though, sorry. Only recently moved on that passat that was formerly yours.

It's probably 'brownish' under those bubbles on the wheel arches ...

Also it's got 'gingercators'  .... That makes it two tone brown with a green coachline in my book.
