Bought a new battery and key cover for my primera's key. No more worn-out holey buttons and the remote locking works from about 2 miles away!!!! brilliant

Purchased a very cheap 7 inch screen Sat Nav off ebay that works as well as any other I've owned, and it will play videos too.

When setting it all up I found there are 77 alternatives to the arrow that shows where you are. One is a Datsun Cherry, another is a Vaz 9 something or other. Nice.

Whitworth spanners, Bedford AF sockets and a rail to put them on, pump and pedals for my crap pushbike, and a fancy new saddle,

Unipart branded petrol can, flame killers and best of all an elderly Aerite footpump.

My ageing TomTom 920 has a Blingo in exactly the right shade of blue.  Which is nice.

My Garmin appears to have an Escort with Carlos Fandango wheels

NW200 on BBCSPORT Now and On Saturrday Morning

I saw a fuckton of bikes coming up from Larne Harbour earlier today. P.S.N.I. reckon on 100,000+ attendees this year.

A link from the fiat forum, brought up a pic of me arriving at brooklands- not sure it's worth me buying for £12 though - background isn't particularly interesting.

Is this better?

I was listening to Team Rock radio on the way home, which prides itself on being advert-free. They played a Brian May track.... "Driven by You". A track commissioned by Ford for a three minute TV advert in 1992 - the irony!

Scruff - My first thought on seeing that is that it looks pretty similar to the car dealership in GTA3 where you can get the Banshee car from in the first island you start out in.

What is 'daylight'?

Wasn't the bast racing but it's only Thursday,Saturday will be better, I want to see Glenn irwin and Alastair seeley having a proper scrap.

The nw drives me crazy though, I'd thought of going to see it but the logistics are a nightmare and I've wasted lots of time waiting for races to happen without actually being there

Yeah, well actually June isn't it?

I need the app to do offline storage, I can't go back to Planet Rock as it's awful.

I hated that Canadian twat that kept playing rush, Darren ridiick or something

And Alice cooper who claimed to be friends with everyone

It's also the self-important traffic, news, weather every half hour (because smart phones don't exist and you absolutely need every radio station to repeat the same information constantly like its a national emergency that the M6 has a dead badger blocking lane 3) and adverts for British fugging Gas every six minutes.

Thats planet rock or are they the same thing?

Alice Cooper plays some boring crap

And as for Rush..... their first album was actually pretty good but you never here anything off that one , just their boring self indulgent SHIT

I found a bat today on the cycle track, the skin on his wing had been ripped off so the ends of his finger bones were exposed.

Unfortunately I can't have a grin about the outcome for the little guy just yet as I won't find out whether he is fixable until tomorrow, but my reason to post here is this:

I must have dealt with 6 to 8 people this afternoon who all made it their business to help one tiny little bat out. Sure some of them do this as an interest/hobby but it is all extra to their day jobs but also the people at the local steam railway who went and found me a box to put him in. They were all really concerned.

I think we hear a lot about the bad stuff, but generally... people are good.

Mate came round tonight that I haven't seen in ages, pleasant to catch up. But what made me properly grin was the dog (there's a surprise!) Chester was doing his irritating, needy, cuddly, cute doggy act today (after he'd been a little shit all yesterday that only settled after I threatened to trade him in for a goldfish) and was laying next to me on the floor. He fell asleep and was snoring his little fat head off and shuffled around until he ended up with his head on the X-box transformer(warm you see) with his head under the upper shelf...

Of course, it fell on him and he was properly wedged in so his head propped up the shelf (stopping all my games from cascading around) and he looked at me all pleading like... I thought about leaving him there for a day or two, but thought I'd better rescue the little git!

:) :)

Methinks My Niece is desperate , asked me to babysit her 4 year old Lad for a couple of hours, Me? Uncle Buck?

No problem! Got bacon beans and beer in, and a whole collection of banger racing dvds gonna be a good time!

As I have been off work for sometime (not for much longer-I have a date for my knee operations at last) I found a new hobby to occupy the days. First I find a cheap car I like the look of (Gumtree, RR, ebay, etc) then find out the cheapest method to get there from home.

Hopefully once I get my knees sorted, I will actually make a journey or two.

No, they're generally really not, at all. You're just fortunate enough to live in a small enclave of decency. GLWTB though - I have a soft spot for the wee critters, mainly because they're disliked by so many people, but also because they're incredibly cute. Also, they invented radar, which is cooler than anything that any human has ever done, ever.
