I stumbled across this legend* and his story about an Austin A40. Perfectly normal 1970s behaviour, I would've thought.

However, it looked disastrous so I gave it some thought and decided on a complete rebuild

Nice one - I played on the Stubnitz a couple of years ago when it was moored in Amsterdam. Good to hear it´s still seeing action and to hear it'll make you happy as jimbob (wasn't he in Carter USM?)!

KTC sunflower oil is 90p a litre in Tesco's.For ease of pouring that's the 1 litre bottles.

Don't bother going to Werrington Tesco as I've just cleared the shelf.

I went to collect some signs from this chap of facebook this morning who i was talking about yesterday, The guys got a great yard full of 1950's & 60's Yank stuff, some really cool stuff there, anyway I had a look at his collection of parts for sale, there's some real gems there, new Rover floor mats, lots of door rubbers, stacks of front and rear lights from BL, Rover and Ford, Lots of signs, work shop manuals etc as well.

I think he's going to have fun working out what fits what though, like these Rover mats which are brand new & £20.

Did SALT Area 7 Tour today with Benno. Was pretty fun like, but you'll have to excuse my brevity as I'm feeling very despondent right now.

That's a good reminder that the Skoda Favorit is a bloody awesome looking car.
