Fumbler Posted July 28, 2019 Posted July 28, 2019 The Volvo Nokia machine has finally met its nemesis.
LightBulbFun Posted July 29, 2019 Posted July 29, 2019 I think thats the only video where you can see how a Model 70 will oversteer (at 1:49) if you push one too far rather then fall over like most people think they will, also worth noting that those are Mark As on 12 inch wheels, I imagine a Mark B on its wider 10 inch wheels would handle even better (sadly its not the best footage in the world but there are not really that many videos of someone pushing a Model 70 to its limits! I would like to find that 1970s invacar video in full)
LightBulbFun Posted August 1, 2019 Posted August 1, 2019 I was wondering when that would make its way to Autoshite im surprised iv not heard more about the Tata Nano on these pages as it seems like a proper auotshite car

dieselnutjob Posted August 3, 2019 Posted August 3, 2019 I watched Red Sea Diving Resort on Netflix last night. A good film and also rammed with 70s cars.
chaseracer Posted August 5, 2019 Posted August 5, 2019 70s chod. Seems like yesterday... JeeExEll, michael t and bunglebus 3

Strange what sticks in your mind. JeeExEll, sheffcortinacentre, michael t and 2 others 5
face Posted August 7, 2019 Posted August 7, 2019 This is oddly compelling. JeeExEll, egg and inconsistant 3
JeeExEll Posted August 8, 2019 Posted August 8, 2019 Check out this guy in a Challenger Hellcat passing all the 65mph traffic. Go Kowalski !!! Hope he had a full tank of gas.
bunglebus Posted August 8, 2019 Posted August 8, 2019 Did his Challenger turn into a Camaro moments before it crashed though? Aston Martin and JeeExEll 2
bunglebus Posted August 10, 2019 Posted August 10, 2019 There's a bit of old chod lurking in the background, but mostly I just like this as it makes me nostalgic for a time I never saw. Things just seemed simpler and more honest, no brand name clothing, kids playing outside and reality tv would have been David Attenborough in the Galapagos Islands. The 60s Technicolour always looks great too. Sudsprint, JeeExEll and michael t 3
bunglebus Posted August 11, 2019 Posted August 11, 2019 I'd love to know what happened to Barry Lee's MK2 - it was a really early car, 1st used by Ford to break MPG records so was already much lighter than a standard two-door. JeeExEll 1
egg Posted August 11, 2019 Posted August 11, 2019 Does Jay Leno have the best private car collection....in the world? Possibly. A fantastic car which his team have done some great work on too. He does have a serious commitment to restorations.
JimH Posted August 12, 2019 Posted August 12, 2019 I can't find this posted anywhere around here and it is possible that someone who is interested in that sort of thing may not have seen it already. In '73 Louis Malle made a mostly silent documentary about a Citroen assembly plant. The film, Humain, trop humain, is 72 minutes of car manufacture and is worth a watch. It was available on Curzon a while back but it isn't now so here it is broken up into bits and in crappy quality. But, hey, Citroen GS! JeeExEll 1
