I may have made it sound worse than it is! there is a mountain of stuff still for free, and there definitely isn't room for it at his new unit, it's possible a third of the size of the current one, if not less!

 

We do have new owners for the Tercel, Prairie, Aggro VDP for freebies so far, and I'm confident that the nearer moving day we get, the more focussed on rehoming we will be naturally

 

I'm off up there soon to take more pictures and get more details and check off the wanted list I've made from everyone on the thread so far - also there is a Pug 205, with a spare engine that has become available for smoll cash money a buyer has pulled out of - and I don't want to be too previous about this, but a running Metro has a provisional buyer only, which could be available

Austin 1100 clutch hose would be handy, I'm not sure if they're the same as on the Mini, but Max probably knows.  Anything Princess (wedge type) could also be of interest to me.  In fact, anything 1100 (ADO16) or Princess is going to be of interest to me.

Need a Blacktop zetec 2.0 petrol engine from Mondeo / Fiesta.

Have many pound notes.

 

There is this fine steed, a Mondeo 2 litre petrol manual, I assume this is the engine you require? It's one of the club member's grandfather's old motor, who passed away, left on his driveway for a while, and is apparently a sweet runner, only 30k on the clock! Needs both sills welding, one already half done, will come with new ones required, anyone any idea on a fair price?? Sorry forgot to mention, he thinks it's far too good to break for parts, but money generally talks

Looks like a Daihastu Charade. Can't tell whether it's the GTti variant.

As promised here are some answers to many queries

 

Mk2 Craig - not got any pics yet of the XR2 engine but he wants around £100 - open to cheeky offers of course

 

Alabama Shrimp - wanted fiesta bits, not really, there are some going in the Tercel, spoken for now unless a deal with Sheff cortina centre can be struck after he's picked it up.

 

Ghosty - 240 glovebox lock - possibly, but if he has to go looking, remove etc then that impacts on his business time, so would want smoll cash monies - that really applies to all minor bits that aren't really helping clear bulk of stuff, merely distracting from the major work of disposal

 

DJoptix - renner 30 rear discs - sorry none

 

Tommotech - shelving and benches - maybe at the end of the move process. Also if warning light can't take the volvo estate then by all means step up,( I'm assuming it's too involved for Eddy ramrod at this time) - as it stands Max wants the alloys (will come with steelies), wants the back axle as it's LSD on the 265 (will come with a 240 axle, but could he please have the axle back when it's convenient, will come to you to pick up), and wants to keep the roofrack - there will be a load of other spares you can have mind you.

Also pretty sure there is Metro internal trim in grey, can you be more specific with pics, or just come on down and have a look!

Close but no biscuit,  - edit - you do get a big chocolate biscuit sir, i was being a bit cheeky hanging on for the Shuttle part sorry the minivan is Max's baby, needs another resto job, but is mostly legal and a good runner - I'm told it's worth big money, even more than my Pug 205 estate which seems all rong

It was a nice thing apparently when the young couple brought it in many moons ago to "restore" it - it has had the sills and floor done apparently, but as you can tell there is plenty more to do yet, and they have ripped the interior out and shagged it - amazingly one of the club members has agreed to take it on - but buggered off travelling for a year, so I'm not sure that's going to work either

It is indeed a Civic Shuttle. Google Images confirms it. 16v but may not be VTEC

I think that's a 1989 G-plate, rather than a 1985 "C".

It's basically a decent shell, decent diesel non turbo 160k 1769cc engine, in the normal world a spares car, in Max's world salvageable - he was going to put  a 406 diesel turbo intercooler engine in which he has, but didn't, obviously(says he thinks it's the same cc).

Asking £100 for the car, £100 for the engine, buy both and get a massive discount! (as far as I can see in the next couple of weeks make a daft offer you'll probably get them for peanuts
