It is rather bloody lovely isn't it?

The wife is actually considering this! but I'd have to sell our CRV, or the Jag

Thanks for that, it hasn't got those wheels on now, it's not perfect but for the money it's OK, it's 3 owner (including me) HSE with a lot of history , if somebody has the time, tools and skills they can be cheap to own as breakers are everywhere

I keep thinking of things I've spent money on , indicator and rear light changed because they were cracked, another £50, I bought some leather dye for the seats £40, new wipers £25, I'm getting depressed now, rubbed the door handles down ready to paint, front vent on top of the bonnet needs doing, scrape on NS wing that was there when I got it, rust spot on NS rear arch I primed because grey primer looked better than rust

4 SALE 4 REAL

I need a new van so this has to go

MOT valid until 28 April 2019

, no advisories , the tester did note it was a bit oily underneath and it does drip a bit if left for a few days  but it's not using any oil so I've just ignored it , they all do that sir

£2500

I've also got an android head unit I bought new but haven't fitted with dashcam and reversing camera BNIB and a carbon fiber kit to beautify the interior for an extra £500 or i can ebay those, the CF kit is about £400 from the US plus shipping duty VAT etc

I was looking at the LDV but they seem to be made of cast iron with an engine that sounds like it's from 1978

I thought you were sorted, It was the breakdown in the transit and 3 hours stuck on the M6 that's prompted this decision , I don't want to sell it but ,"if you're having a new van THAT will have to go" and a pointy finger

I'm going for a relay/boxer/ducato because they're the lightest , 250kg more payload than a transit

Been looking for 2 days , found a nice one, sold, found another, sold

I'm getting sick of seeing the same ones on various websites

You spent any time in one? They’re pretty uncomfortable.

Mine is fine for the rare use it gets but I’m not sure I’d want to spend every working day in one.

Welcome to have an “extended test drive” in mine if a L2H1 van is any use to you and you can get down to Gloucester

They can't be worse than a 210,000 mile transit with uprated rear springs

I did suggest to Mrs wack that she could drive the RR and I could sell her B class

That went down well , stern face and pointy finger

Bedford cf with a rover V8 is what you need!

Probably have a higher payload than this modern rubbish too, or a yank tradesmans van....

Sprinter or Crafter or death.

I do sort of agree but the problem is payload on the FWD crap vans is 200+ kg more than a sprinter or crafter though I am drawn to the crafter as I have some LED illuminated badges that say crafter on them

What happened with it?

I don't think I can justify the purchase but I'll admit I'm tempted anyway

Split hose , not on the Range Rover , I've got a transit pickup , hose split at 5:40am , took until 7:45 am for egertons to come out , they recovered me to the services then about 9am the AA came out

Though the way the search is going I'd be better off keeping it as the prices dealers want for 4 year old 100k dropside vans is nuts

FFS chap!!

Anyone want to buy an X5?

Funny, the first thing I thought was why didn't Wack advertise this 12 hours earlier?

We were still at the stompy shouty point in new vehicle negotiations at that point

Has the transit engine cooked itself? Better the devil you know really maybe get a known good engine stuffed into it rather than new interesting problems?

Posted

No but I was looking at it , it's getting really scruffy , done 211,000 miles , no record of it every having a clutch which is £1000 on these with the DMF,I've had my money's worth out of it so it's time

Loved my 06 boxer, by modern vans now it's probably a bag of crap,

I'd love a Range Rover but not the time for me yet..

Does seem cheap though

Much as I like Range Rovers, they seem to be another of those cars where the purchase price is just like the entry fee at the door of one of those clubs, everything after that costs more. Especially if you want to go upstairs.
