I considered quietly putting this one in the bin, but here - have my risable attempt at making a banger racer out of a broken Ford Escort police car.

Because obviously banger racers just love fwd Escorts.

I don't know what I was thinking...

Dreadful pics of a dreadful van.

Looks moderately realistic in its shiteness, mind.

£4.00 posted/ £1.00 added to a current order.

On the understanding its appearance doesn't change (see downthread)

The mortal remains of some cheap plastic kit. Bits have fallen off over the years to the point that this is all that's left.

Either way, it's an anthropomorphic soft vinyl Mini Countryman.

The stuff of nightmares for a mere £0.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I think I might go and lie down for a little while...

^^^ Yeah, I priced it up a few years ago for a Zodiac bonnet, glazing and front & rear bumpers plus decals, and they were all readily available online - but I don't think I'll ever get round to it, if I'm honest.

The Transit, just possibly though... I'm warming to the idea of doing it in full early-80s builder's van dilapidation...

Gary McVeigh was a big bugger even at the age of 10, so I bet he's fucking terrifying now. His da was the local coalman and had fists like hams.

Oh, and you've a PM coming through!

That corgitronics thing intrigues me. I think I want it...

Can certainly add it to your box of many wonders, for further contemplation?

I won't be forcing anyone to take absolutely everything they've set aside - options to take or leave remain open until the point of payment and packing!

Could I have the tonka jeep and the david brown please? Ta!

Could I add tesco transporter set #1 please? (From the post with two sets in)

You can probably tell I'm grabbing stuff for my toddler, not me, so if it's an issue that they'll be played with, ridden, thrown and buried in sandpits, don't sell them to me!

Throughout the 1970's a Tonka Jeep Wagoneer in green and CJ5 in yellow lived in the 'NWeigh brothers garden. They were buried, sunk , taken to the beach, used as roller skates etc, etc. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if they're not still in the garden of our childhood home been played with by subsequent generations of occupants.

They really were" Real tough toys"

Yup, that's not a problem and I appreciate your being upfront about that - maybe a few years ago it mighta been, when I was rather more uptight about such matters, but these are just toys after all.

I hope he'll enjoy them!
