In an old hunting lodge a few nights not far from balmoral.

The journey up from Glasgow was an unhurried steady cruise which no doubt helped the not atrocious fuel consumption on this leg. 
 

We stopped off at a Highland games and gave the car a brief breather after a long climb later in the day saw the car get hot but not too hot. Fantastic roads. Was a good excuse for a break and quick team photo….

We also managed to make the gramophone work, breifly. I later gave up on that, but not the wine or February 1997 car. Goes well together.

The battery got hammered yesterday as the kids left the door open overnight. I charged it up but alas it wouldn’t restart when we were on our way to a remote distillery. We eventually saw another car and we jump started it with their help. 
 

 

We’ve now detoured to Aberdeen Halfords to get a new battery sorted, not part of our holiday plans but all good fun!
