Beige Ambassador spotted

On the B3092 near Maiden Bradley in Somerset yesterday, spotted the holy grail of beige; do we have a member with said vehicle or anyone know of an Ambassador owner? Brightened up my day to see said motor carriage.

Who would have thought we'd be drooling all over these, 35 years on....

I remember looking at them new and thinking, so close.... they certainly deserved to do better than they actually did, but then so did the Princess.  It's easy to say now, but an O-series Princess hatch, pitched against the Cortina/Sierra, might have stood a chance.

It was beige, not gold like the one pictured above and did not have turbine wheels, just ordinary steels. If the owner is not an Autoshite contributor he should be, 24 carat diamond encrusted shite that Ambassador was, I near drove off the road.
