I bought this car 8 months ago on the understanding the starter motor had packed in. The previous owner had left it stood for 2 years. When I put the vehicle on the ramp I found to my horror that it had a brand new starter motor on it. After a bit of further investigation I found that the engine was seized up. (conrod snapped)

I then bought myself a second hand engine from a double six that had had a rear end bump. (80,000miles) I removed the propshaft, gearbox and exhaust ready to remove the old engine and that is basicly where I got upto with the car.

To be fair, i'd have cut my losses when i realised the engine was seized!!! 10/10 for optimism!

Here's that coach that was in Classic Car Weekly (other motoring publications are available, though not with such cutting edge stories as this  ) with only delivery mileage on it. The guy was looking for about 50 grand for it...

Perhaps if we chip in a couple of quid each we can secure it for future Autoshite Jolly Boys Outings:

ALRIGHT LOVE. I'VE JUST MOVED IN NEXT DOOR. I'VE BOUGHT A MASSIVE NEW BIG YELLOW CAR CRUSHER, AND I AM LOOKING FOR SOMETHING TO TEST IT WITH. HAVE YOU GOT OWT?

AYE, I'VE GOT AN OLD JAG UP WHICH SOME F##KWIT HAS TRIED TO CHOP INTO A PICK UP TRUCK. IT LOOKS SHIT AND I THINK THE BEST THING FOR IT WOULD BE TO SQUASH IT FLAT.

GR9, WELL LETS HAVE IT THEN. IF MI CRUSHER DOES THE BIZ ON IT, WE CAN GET OUR FREAK ON AFTERWARDS

RIGHTO

This Saab convertible looks temptingly good value for a bag of sand, but I am always put in mind of that whinging MeatLoafTurbo lad off RR who had one that was a pup.

If we give it a tlc it will become a car for nearly 5000 GBP as I saw one selling on ebay for 5800 GBP. so grab yourself a bargain. Any questions please drop me an e-mail. Thanks. I might be able to get it fixed if I get time.

Deposit of 500 GBP required rest of the payment could be made upon collection.

Current bid: £127.00

Dont think this guys got much of a grip on reality, or any basic common sense about selling old cars.

Hard to tell whether that's a 213 with a Honda front end or a Honda with a Rover steering wheel and bootlid...Or a delightful cut-n-shit.

NOW YOURE TALKING, if a young 'un cant get insured on that they may as well give up. PLus its class in a glass, in a way that a battered Ibiza D can never attain.
