Had the base 2.0i saloon, brilliant drive, electrics were - erm - 'Interesting' to say the least....throw a 6 to see what will Not work this trip!!!

 

Also Ex wife had a 2.5 Td hatch that was surprisingly quick for a VM turbo dizzle....until she wrote it off after 3 days

Would there be any interest in this as a Roffle?  There are at least two extremely interesting bargains on ebay just now and it would be nice to have ready cash with which to bid.

I took this car for MoT today, to the same garage that passed the Roffle 75 on the day I collected it.

 

And it passed.  Handful of advisories but nothing frightening.

Following some PM traffic it would appear we have a sale.  I'm not changing the tag yet just so that I don't tempt fate, but this is a car I'm really going to miss.  It's been lovely.

Kindly collected by Mr & Mrs Ramrod from the station and after the briefest of drives and an all important cup of tea, the sale was concluded.

 

I am happy to confirm the comments made by Chompy_snake and Djimbob,  Eddy even allowed me to sit briefly in his 7.5 litre+ V8 Cadillac Coupe de Ville.

 

Completed the 175 mile return journey without any alarms, wooden feeling brake pedal apart.  Needs a good clean up this weekend before pictures are taken but I can confirm the giffer scratches on all 4 corners.
