A NICE BROOOWN DOLLY 1850..FOR SALE...NOT MINE..

Afternooon gents.  A local old chap came to see mew today with his dolly 1850 manual.... he is looking to sell it, i was fancying it myself, but there is a certain GSA at the other end of britain i have my eye on and am hopefull ican get, so i have passed on the dolly thats on my doorstep !

 

anyhow, he is looking for £2000, and i dont think he would take an offer, he opened at £2500 and came down.   I took it for a drive and it was ace!  nice tight and responsive,  The body was good enough to look good, but not too good you wouldn't want to use it.  evidence of filler and respray work aplenty, but nothing too detracting if that makes sense, inside was nice and whole . anyhow, here are some pics, if anyone is interested in more info just ask, car is in Aberdeenshire, which is sure to be the opposite end of Britain to the  man that wants it !

Loving this although can't understand why someone would have spec'd it in that colour when there were so many awesome 70's alternatives to choose from!

No, I really like Russet Brown too, especially on Dollies.
