Won't be sleeping over I doubt. If your laguna has lasted can't see why an hdi 90 won't ;-)

I suspect the Scottish contingent will attend said aviation museum in the early afternoon. What time are folk expecting to be there?

I was thinking of getting there between 1 and 2 i.e. after an early lunch. Boston looks to have loads of places to eat in.

For the Midlands Massive, do we meet up at Truckers Rest and convoy over or make our own sweet random ways?

Truckers to Boston will be about 2 hours 30 mins

I like the idea of a convoy, but Truckers' Rest is completely the wrong way for me. I'll be going northern Peak District (either A628/M1/A57 or A57 all the way) to the A1, then down to the A17 and across.

And the xantia also!

This one had the same owner for past 6 years and it's a 2.0 hdi. To be fair though the xsara was a bloody good car and I regret selling that, the Picasso wasn't the best example from the start and the c2 was a bit too small for what I needed.

I'm planning on coming up early Saturday morning in the 620, i erected my pop up tent for the first time today to see how it works. I can't unerect it now.

Is the tent one that goes into a flat circle shape when packed?

Loads of videos on youtube to show how to do it.

Ben

Is there a specific technique needed for throwing the tent over the neighbours fence like?

Problem. I bought another old crate today so it's a question of which minicab reject to bring.....

Aye - wagons are better to sleep in for one. Also, it's more interesting. Carina Es are nice, but what is there to say about them?

Managed to pack the pop up tent back away after watching a woman on a youtube video, oh the shame.

Make sure it's at the bottom of the luggage trigger. Last thing you need is it springing out like a bloody Jack in a box.

I haven't really planned Friday. I was thinking about doing some work, then heading over, but that's probably just stupid. In which case, maybe I'll try and get over for museum shenanigans.

Good. That gives us an idea of what time to leave here. I think us meeting yous at the Truckers or even Boston is a wee bit much so we'll get you at the museum.

Quite a long way from yours, Ian...

Only four hours. Us international attendees have to be prepared for a dose of travel.

Only four hours.

I done Portsmouth a couple of weekends ago. Lincolnshire is going to feel positively local.

What do you want done with the spanners?

Any chance you would box them for a courier at my cost as i have no chance of SF17?

Google maps time is 2:10 and we may be traveling with Chaseracer's 2CV.

So 2:30 seems reasonable.
