Lankytim Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 SOLD SOLD SOLD Wotcha shitters. I picked up this barge recently with the intention of getting it back on the road but I've lost interest and I'm having a bit of a clear out. 2.0 diesel hdi 90bhp NO MOT, to get one it will need a small patch on the middle of one sill and there's apparently a leak from the brake valve return pipe which I can't get to leak any LHM. should be an easy fix, just a perished rubber pipe which can be cut back by an inch or so to fix. Possibly other things needed but nothing obvious. 1 owner since 2001 who really looked after it- 240K on the clock, but it looks and drives brilliantly. recent front spheres, rear end re-piped, interior mint, exterior very good, even the rear door shuts are lovely. lacquer on the roof is a bit crazed but looks OK. 5x good michelin tyres. Lots of history. Anybody want to exchange £100 for it? Skizzer, stephen01, KruJoe and 6 others 9
MrDuke Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 GET THEE BEHIND ME SATAN Also, PM incoming. binhoker668 and KruJoe 2
beko1987 Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 Utter bargain! I already have a slightly rusty, slight shonky xantia though so glws!
forddeliveryboy Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 We're all fools not to buy that. Whoever does, is smart. Lacquer Peel 1
purplebargeken Posted January 2, 2017 Posted January 2, 2017 Bloody hell, what a bargain. That looks like it should be showing no more than 60,000 miles. What a cracker.
Lankytim Posted January 3, 2017 Author Posted January 3, 2017 Provisionally flogged! Skizzer, beko1987, KruJoe and 1 other 4
beko1987 Posted January 4, 2017 Posted January 4, 2017 Thank god, after writing my post just now in the grumpy thread I came here to see if you had been let down was was desperate for it to go, would have asked about trusted shitter payment scheme, drove it back on a pre-booked MOT and had a weekend of parts swapping with mine and bridged the rest! I'm glad* I don't have to do any of that now...
vaughant Posted January 8, 2017 Posted January 8, 2017 I'd have to dig out the address but I'm pretty certain I bought an Impreza turbo wagon from that very street back in 2004/5 (iirc).
Sloth in a bowl Posted January 8, 2017 Posted January 8, 2017 This place is was it used to be, a moon millage Xantia available in exchange for pocket money
Tamworthbay Posted January 8, 2017 Posted January 8, 2017 This place is was it used to be, a moon millage Xantia available in exchange for pocket money I didn't expect it to last an hour without selling. I would love another but need to make space at the moment so not possible
Lankytim Posted January 15, 2017 Author Posted January 15, 2017 Still available guys! Buyer had to back out for personal reasons so she's back up for sale.
beko1987 Posted January 15, 2017 Posted January 15, 2017 If my relationship wasn't in the toilet and buying this for spares for mine wasn't going to be a silly idea I'd be asking you if it would drive back to a pre booked mot... Tbh it's probably better than mine in almost every way bar mine has 11.2 months mot on it...
bub2006 Posted January 15, 2017 Posted January 15, 2017 So tempted. So close too yet cupboards bare at the minute.
Lankytim Posted January 17, 2017 Author Posted January 17, 2017 Still here! I really want to put it on the road myself but can't as I'm still enjoying the PT Cruiser and the wife's Multipla has just been kicked through it's latest MOT. Amazingly they're both working fine with no major issues so it seems crazy to ditch one. Maybe next week one will break. purplebargeken and stephen01 2
purplebargeken Posted January 18, 2017 Posted January 18, 2017 I keep looking at this. Annoyingly I can't justify it.

oldcars Posted January 18, 2017 Posted January 18, 2017 So tempted. So close too yet cupboards bare at the minute. You could branch out into Bubs Airport Service or BAS for short.
stephen01 Posted January 18, 2017 Posted January 18, 2017 this is just what i want, estate, diesel, cheap, but sans MOT, the wife would literially make me sleep in it (if I was lucky)
