When I started with Transco in 2001 they were still running those vans, the 400s were good but the 200s with the smaller non turbo were hard work!

Well in mate, collectioneering can be hard work with bambinos in tow!

That's just perfect for a Clydeside re-make of Colombo.  Starring Clive Russel.

Thanks to Andy who saw us turning into the wrong bus garage and called us with directions. Top fella, would buy again A++++++++

Trailer parked up into Friday when we are coming back. Bed time after 435 miles, only thing to go wrong was the led market light on the trailer giving up with 20 miles to go, I blame the rain.

The LDV is a workhorse, not fast but just keeps plodding on. The little one enjoyed his first collection, only the occasional little cry.

One services South of The bay on the M6. Got slightly lost leaving Glasgow which meant a 20 minute detour to find ourselves again. Still on course to be home by midnight.

Home at 23:15. 452 miles back due to that detour around Glasgow.

When loading at Andy's the trailer lights were playing up until we worked out of put the plug in upside down which wasn't the brightest idea. After that the marker light l.e.d on the off-side wheelarch still wasn't working, the fix for the earth issue having failed about 20 miles short of Glasgow. Bit of a play with the wires before leaving didn't fix it so as it got dark another solution was needed.

£1.99 torch from the services and a shed load of gaffer tape but it did the job and stayed on.

Will have a look round the Puglet tomorrow but it looked good in the mirror and smelled of really nice shampoo.

Excellent - that lovely car deserves a proper good home. Loving the Pug-powered LDV Sherpa, too.
