Having a shot of FOAD'S Samara on a track would be Autoshite nirvana achieved. Damn being this southern* chump that I am and damn Silverstone for not doing similar events.

I quite fancy bringing the panda to this. Do you need. Crash helmet?

You can hire them there. A quid a time for each session.

I cannot explain how ace this is. We can all go in the same session so that we get time together.

You're welcome to drive the Panda given it doesn't blow up before getting there.

Buy Proton, dump at or very near Knockhill the day before (when the MOT runs out), then drive it round the track on the day?

I'll hopefully be there, sadly won't be putting a car on track myself. (Lexus will have been mothballed into storage by then)

Like last time, I'll bring my helmet along to be borrowed out for free. :)

I know of a old quarry/lay by a few miles down the road from the track...not sure how accessible it is these days though.

Diesel Polo round a track, what could possibly go wrong? I hope you do win it, so I can have a go.

I want to take the Locost there next year but I need to learn the track. So, obviously, owning a small rwd sports car I've been looking at large fwd hatchbacks. What's the worst that could happen?

Looks like I have sourced another suitable* track weapon. 16v and everything!

So potentially may have spare seats up for grab if people are interested in trying the delights of knockhill

Roughly £50 for the track fee, plus fuel and tyres contribution - £70 ish for the day.

Interested (obviously) I will get back to you to confirm or sit in the corner and cry.

How mental is it in the wet I wonder?

I very much doubt it will be wet in November in Scotland!

Just in case I will fit the wet weather gear*

*Might be exactly the same as dry weather gear

Do you get a different rate? The website has it as 66 per car and 36 per additional driver .
