I'm definitely open to offers on the caravan, but sadly not until I've finished sleeping in it. Impress* your family with a new wobble-box!

In other news, I'm having a minor magazine clearout. These are available free if you want them, or will be recycled if not.

Magazines are always welcome here! Can I look through or would you like the lot gone?

I'm sure others will be interested in a browse, so a look-through is fine.

That's great. Means I won't get in too much trouble at home for bringing more mags!

Posted

I wouldn't mind a mooch through those mags. Could I have dibs on the 1970s repmobiles issue of PC (one with yellow Cortina on cover) please?

I have found two random other books, both FOC:

  • A British Rail Southern Region Traveller's Guide, 1965-66. A guidebook to train travel in the region, plus local places of interest, plus loads of random BR/train facts. As with the mags, Six-Cylinder has first dibs on this, if he doesn't want it I'm sure another train fancier will give it a home.
  • SKF Roller and Ball Bearings General Catalogue no GB550, The Skefko Ball BearingCo, 1964. Everything you ever wanted to know about roller and ball bearings but were afraid to ask!  I rescued this from a friends chuck-out when he was moving garage premises, with the intent of finding it a new home. Shitefest 16 is the place for it to find that new home - Its a nicely produced hardback with lots of pics, stats, tables etc.

Corgi Vanguards Models. all mint and boxed. £10 each

Vauxhall Cavalier Mk11 SRI130 in Nordic Blue, model no VA 09802

Rover 3500 (SD1) Vitesse in Moonraker Blue, model no VA 09007

Rover 3500 (SD1) Vanden Plas EFi in Black, no VA09000

MG ZT in Trophy Blue, model no VA09300

These are in the plastic presentation boxes with cardboard sleeves. The cardboard sleeves for the Cavalier and the SDI Vitesse boxes claim they are limited editions, I can't find any little cards or anything else (like you used to get with the earlier Vanguards) which confirms this.

Consider yourself dibbed. I'll go and put a note on it now.

I shall be taking some stuff with me to sell or give away. I'm not taking any of it home with me anyway!

- Vauxhall Omega Haynes manual

- K&N filter for a B5 generation Audi A4 / VW Passat

- Grille for a B5 generation Audi A4 (minus the badge)

- Tonneau cover for a Mk1 MX5

Just make me offers for them, really, or give me cans of cider, whatever.

Can anyone help please? Sadly I can't now attend SF, but I had arranged to bring down coalnotdole's illuminated Reliant sign. Is anyone from Hudds/Wakey area (I'm HD8) going who I could pass it on to please?? It's only about 18" so wouldn't eat too much into your luggage space.

Can you get it closer to Derbyshire before 9am tomorrow? If so I don't mind taking it but have a lot on today So can't go to fetch it

Beko has second dibs on the train guide and EC gets the ball bearing book. Good, two more things I won't be taking home with me!

J-Man, are you going home via Tamworth by any chance?

Posted

Thats fine, thank you :)

If you want them all i will strap them ontop of the trailer tent and bring them with me. I was hoping to get there tomorrow evening but a twat of an electrician has let me down and I might have to be here Saturday morning to get this job done.

Any interest in the pair of picnics table out of a VP Allegro?

I bought them to fit in my Rover 400 GSI with leather but never got round to it
