Yeah I know, it's a bold title, but it happens to be true.

This collection thread bought to you in association with:

The ghost of Colin McRae.

Colin's ghost sez:

"Bold move buying a new car before the insurance have paid out on the old one. Like I always said, if in doubt, buy another car."

We apologise for the sideways pictures.

Our technical team are currently removing the cartridge from our GameBoy Camera, blowing in the slot and trying again.

That's the arrival, I was too slow to picture the front of it.

I am currently sat on the pictured train.

Saw this when flicking through the obligatory Metro.

Not sure if I would be complimented or offended if I was the man in the Ford Ranger.

Nay, Manchester. But I'm sure most grim provincial airports look the same.

Lo! I see a wheelchair >> requiring two stout, strong poles*.

Looks like Cityside/Yorkgate from the skyline. There wasn't a Tesco filling station last time I lived in NI though!

Keep 'em peeled for speed cams on the A75 when you're off the boat. Notorious for it and the only place I've ever been followed and pulled, and the only place I've ever been a passenger in a car that's been pulled as well. Should be a nice sailing today! Recommend the meatballs if you're going on the Stena.

Yeah its nice day alright, glad I bought my sunglasses.

Closer inspection while waiting for boat.

Exhaust is cat back drainpipe thing that needs to get in the sea.

Wheels are 18zzz with matching eagle f1s all round so hopefully worth a few quid tp someone.

Always love the little JDM touches.

Will check when I get back down to the car.

Had the meatballs, tasty but small portion, could easily eat another.

Bye bye Belfast.

I would sit out on the deck enjoying the sun but the alarms are going off on several cars below me.

I was on the P&O ferry from Larne to Carinryan a couple of hours ahead of you today. Cracking day for it. Stena ferries are nicer though.

I'm waiting for the post informing us that an amphibious hi-ab lorry has nicked it and fucked off into the Irish sea.

Soz to disappoint Supernaut, I am still in possession of the car for now, toilet break on the m6 near Carlisle.

One last pic which was coming in to Cairnryan, probably radio silence now until i get home in about 2 hours.

As a matter of interest, how much did your ferry ride cost?

Posted

Ferry was £104, plane was £58, single to town £1.80, train to airport £19.99, driving approx 250 miles on about 50 quid pez.

The ferry and plane could have been had cheaper if they were booked more than a couple of days in advance.
