Well there hasnt been many updates here, as there hasnt been much to do.

 

 

When I got the car, the switch was missing for the interior light.  And the light wasnt working.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I got a replacement from a scrapper and "rebuilt" the motherflipper.

The only other alteration Ive made is replacing the air filter with a free flowing cotton Jetex pannel.

 

 

 

The car has run great and been great fun.  As people have said, they really do fly from low down the revs.  They run out of puff late on, but theyre only a 1.5, so you cant expect supercar top end.

 

 

 

 

As is ever the case, I have seen something else thats green and appealing, so I'm half-heartedly putting this up for sale.

 

 

 

I think I overpaid slightly at £800 as there are scratches, scrapes and small shallow dents on most panels.  As ever, I bought it because it was solid and mechanically grand.

 

 

I have tried to take pics if the scratches and dents, and have let the car get dirty because that really covers the imperfections up a treat!

So, details.

 

 

Suzuki Ignis sport 1.5 chain driven raec car.

89k miles.

10 months MOT.

 

JVC modern music player with aux in.

Recaro seats with fishnets for catching all the fanny.

 

Recent disks and pads all round.

Recent brake pipes from the bay back.

Recent tyres all round. (budgets)

Recent exhaust.

Recent Jetex panel filter.

 

Everything works bar the AC (just needs regassed*)

Things to note:

Scratches and dents.

Front towing eye cover missing.

Wheels have been refurbed black. Poorly.

One small tab burn in drivers seat base. Also bolster repair.

Clutch is a bit high and heavy.  Cannot be made to slip.  I have googled symptoms and theres a few results for "they all do that sir.  I did buy a very expensive correct clutch kit and cable when I got the car, but after driving it a few thousand miles I decided it didnt realy need to be done.  Parts available by negotiation if you want them.  Still boxed, with receipts.

 

 

Price is £700 car only.  Negotiation is welcomed after its been viewed, driven.
