V6 laguna.

V6 75.

V6 omega.

Some people on here really are into auto self - flagellation.

Not dissimilar to doing a really bad fart in bed - you moan like fuck but go back for more.

3.2? Happy days, must be a right laugh.

Deffo in shite territory now.

I always wanted a V6 one after having a royale and a senator, but I had heard of too many tales of engine problems necessitating a trip to the bridge.

My mate borrowed a company owned 2.5 - nice and smooth but humiliated a traffic lights by a focus ST170. Shortly after it developed a rattle - vauxhall said they would need the car for a week.

Car was swiftly moved on...

At least you have got the full fat one.

Step 1 , check cambelt history, if not recent replace

Step 2 . remove sump and check oil pick up is clear, they can take out a crank bearing in seconds,

Step 3   carry a spare GM crank sensor,

Step 4   cane it

I think the actual engines themselves are very reliable in these.. some of the bits bolted on aren't quite so dependable though.  The biggest one is the oil cooler, which sits in the middle of the 'V'- it can go porous and mix fluids.  Coil packs fail too and they're well hidden.

As above, timing belt renewal is not something to neglect.  Good access on that job though.

I ran a 2.5 for three years, it was a great car and totally reliable once the bits above were sorted, would love another, look forward to seeing the pics!!
