I'm sitting here waiting to get married and I'm on tenter hooks waiting for what shite Billy is picking up...

Just why would someone disabled buy a sporty lowslung vaux?

I wonder if this will be over by the time I get back from a viewing.

It's a nice VXR but if it hasn't got 51 coats of Whale Jizz polish on it, ah'm oot

Good luck Green.

Most memorable thing about my wedding day was the plan to go on honeymoon in the Sierra.

I went to fill it up while my new Mrs got changed and the tank split and pissed petrol all over the forecourt.

We eventually went away in a diesel Skoda.

Anyway... I digress..

Wot you brought Billy?

I used to dream of having that lifestyle when a kid.  Now I have sadly realised that I will never achieve it.

Blue badges aren't just for physical disabilities, they can be for mental disabilities too.

Like being unable to stop buying shit cars.

(edit, on rereading that sounds like I just called your lads Corsa shit. I was of course referring to whatever festering turf you've gone to buy)

This must be a long way north if you're still on the road in that hot Astra?

I quite like the way those look, by the way. There, I've said it.

ooh. 405?

DING! And the boy gets a cigar.

I have to say, I doubt I'll get a better buy this year. The owner had had it 13 years, looked after it extremely well and was just one of those top drawer people you occasionally get lucky to meet in life. He said about the offers he'd had on it (including someone offering £50 more than I'd agree to pay) and gave me a few bits inc. Krooklock, manual and some spare bulbs etc.

I think it has every MOT from new, certainly every one since he's owned it, and he looked almost tearful as he said goodbye.

Edit: has working air con, too.

Winar Winar Chicken Dinar! 11/10

Cav's car buying days are behind him.

This is every car he will ever need.

Until it goes all French and falls to bits.

That's how people get about 405s.

Won't happen, Cavcraft will fall to bits before it does.

That looks spotless! Keeper?

It wasn't going to be, but at the moment it'd be daft not to keep it. I think it's a Lucas pump, but that doesn't matter too much to be honest.

Keeper. The only word that Our Billy is unfamiliar with. Apart from warranty that is.

Thats got to be one of the best cars I've seen you buy! I really like these, i always feel these are probably one of the best VFM old cars you can buy.

Bollocks, I was just about to offer you the brand new Haynes manual I found for a 405 in the cupboard and it's got one!

Well bought. Very nice.

Eye spy with my little eye, something beginning with 20p in the handbreak per chance?

That really is nice, very clean indeed.
