Can't believe it took a whole 24 minutes to sell this car!!

This place etc etc. ;-)

I think the guy with the car was pretty surprised too. I left at about 12 saying I'd try and rustle up some interest and by 1.30 I was ringing to say someone was coming for it tomorrow.

I imagine you will have to sellotape a volvo badge over the Honda one to get past Scottish Customs, they are very strict at the border .... volvos or nothing.

I'm hoping to get Shug, the one eyed border guard but will pack an emergency badge just incase...

There seemed to be a proper race for this one. Drama, suspense and everything! It was much better than the telly actually.

First Class ticket booked as well. Travelling in style both ways.

What percentage of the car's cost did the train ticket set you back?

Compared to almost any other car, it would be.

I'll see you at the station, probably in the Laguna.

Fooking hell. Well done, that is a massive want on my list and what a bargain. Collection thread is necessary!

Bloody hell that was quick!

I love these barges and would've been on this like white on rice. Can't lose for £150.

Fuxskae, one of these is well up on my Honda Fetishist list, the one afternoon I dont check the forum at break time!

Looking forward to the updates, I though everyone on here found Hondas boring  ;-)

You are all doing it right. I would also have had this, but was far too slow.

I was pondering this in the motor on way home from work struck in the 14-mile tailback going north from Laaaahndahn way [yes... it was]

Made my mind up to buy

I'm as slow as a goat!  It sold hours before!   8)

...so, after it's been fetched and got bored with, #31 please

I'd say the original supplying dealer was Helensburgh Honda.

Aye, you're not the only one that can spot an "SB" reg ;)

Are they still located in Alexander Rankine's old place?  Just looked at Google Street view and see that they're long gone and it's Helensburgh Toyota's used car bit now which was just past the BP. (https://goo.gl/maps/KjmuojAVANk) - completely OT but when did the Spinnaker become a sodding Farmfoods?

Fuctifano, I've not been there for a good few years!  The SB reg. is an Oban code, I believe - Helensburgh Toyota also had this suffix.  I saw a toyota Carina taxi in the outskirts of Manchester with an SB suffix  in 2000, oddly enough.

They did, every Toyota taxi I drove did at any rate - certain they had TSB, USB, VSB.

Well their place at Linwood would be the next nearest main dealer after Helensburgh Honda jacked it in.
