Hmm...if it would have been a pie for each 50 miles I'd be all over that. 40 pies are 40 pies, after all.

Pie Terms and Conditions

1) The winner of the automobile will receive 1 free pie from Hollands.

2)Pie can either be selected in advance for the journey home or a lucky dip.

3) Warming facilities of the Pie maybe offered before commencement of return leg to ensure that a tepid pie may be available for the driver for up to 20 miles

4) As a free bonus extra any winner that travels over 50 miles to collect prize will win an extra pie (and potential warming up) for the journey home

Based on WW success I will be putting together a box of swedish goodies for the winner, to give them that Scandinavian feel.

Todays entry in the box of godhet - A glossy picture of (f)ABBA

abba.jpg

A fine four piece from the land of Saab.

Strap these beauties into the back seat and give yourself the air of a celebrity chauffeur.

Gasp as they talk about their songs about battles, giggle as the ladies tell you dirty swedish jokes and cry when they slag off those pretenders to their crown - Bjorn Again.

With two fine looking ladies and two hirsute dandy gentleman, they were the proto hipsters.

You never need to be alone again.

And no need to share the pie (s)

NOTE: Due to demand - only 1 (one) picture of Abba will be supplied regardless of journey time or distance

Reasonably unusual with a manual box. How much was it up for sale for before the raffle?

£500 to a shiter.

£500 to a shiter.

That seems fair. I've had loads of Saabs but never one of these. The 2.3 has a fair bit more oomph than the 2.0. Really easy to release a few more horses with a remap, and it makes them powerful cars.

Posted

Yep noobtune will add 50 bhp no problems and put it into Aero territory.

Will really miss the turbo but Lpg focus is much much cheaper on fuel

Posted

Good luck with the raffle all taking part. I'll pass this time but I'd drive this any day of the week.

Done and done

Today's addition to the Swedish box of delight is a "made in trollhattan" book. It is a proper book and not just a print out.

Said book contains all of the following pictures

maxresdefault.jpg

and none of the following pictures

j+and+j+(1).jpg

So as it stands you could win

Pies*, Abba, Book and a car ...

Not enough you say .... well keep the tickets flowing and moar will be added

*Pie numberage is limited by T & C

I'd happily donate an alcohol fueled wrong handed drawing of the prize, in any situation of the winners choosing, if it helps.

Something a bit like the one below that was the result of a long, late, boozy birthday party last night, only good better not quite as bad.

Oh, and because I have no sense, I'll take number 45. Ta.

Todays addition to the prize pot is two bottles of beer from Accringtons newest brewery!

Yes I am including some homebrew. Brewed by my fair hands using a kit from Stanky (http://brewly.co.uk - cant recommend this enough)

If the winner would prefer a non alcoholic choice - two bottles of non descript fizzy pop will be offered as a suitable replacement.

Posted

Over half way there which means omg VTEC roffle tickets kick in..

For a limited time only an extra level has been added and now the offer is

Ticket uno -£8

Ticket duo -£15

Ticket trio (triiiiiooooo) -£20

That extra ticket could win

A picture of ABBA

Up to two pies

A book about Swedish cars

Two bottles of homebrew or no name alternative pop

Picture from the hand of bucketeer including a cat (lolz)

Just think you can have this bonnet outside your house in the not too distant future.

The Accrington dogs are so excited they end up sitting on each other.

I am sure you can donate the pie to one of the runners up (cause there are no losers in this lottery!)

I will happily donate pie to the runner up. No worries there. As long as it isn't a meat & potato pie. They rock.

Especially with some tomato sauce.

Can I have 57 to make it 3 please? Cheers!
